Showing up for yet another screening of her movie, Angelina Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt to attend “The Tourist” premiere in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday (December 14).
The “Salt” actress and her “Fight Club” partner were joined by Johnny Depp as they posed for several pictures on the red carpet – Clearly seeming to be enjoying their time together.
Making for good reason to celebrate on this particular evening, it was just announced that “The Tourist” is up for Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

Due in theaters this Friday (December 10), “The Tourist” is directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck while telling the story of “an American tourist named Frank who visits Italy to mend a broken heart – during which time he crosses paths with an extraordinary woman named Elise.”
Talking about the film, Jolie recently said, “We wanted something that was a pleasure and an escape that you wish Paris and Venice were and everyone feels this elegance for a moment. It felt like I was back in some of these old-time movies.”
Meanwhile, Depp added, “I’ve done a number of things where these characters are considered a little bit out (of the ordinary), so I wanted to see what I could do with a normal guy put into radically intense situations with various ticks.”

Yahoo! Movies has got its hand on a new clip from “The Tourist” which is going to be debuted Stateside this December 10. It features Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, who take lead roles, on a boat where he launches some questions to Jolie before asking her why everyone is trying to kill him.
In another fresh clip, which is released via The Tourist Facebook page, Depp is seen reporting an attempted murder to officials. The man, whom Depp talks to, however does not think the action is a serious issue.
A remake of 2005 French film entitled “Anthony Zimmer”, “The Tourist” will see Depp portraying an American tourist named Frank who is having a vacation in Italy to mend a broken heart. Jolie, in the meantime, stars as Elise, a female Interpol agent who is in a mission to locate a criminal with whom she once had an affair.
Against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but Elise uses him as a dupe to reach her goal. Frank soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in whirlwind of intrigue and danger.
