The family stayed at a well-known all suites hotel near the beach of Perissa. Their suite had a private pool and backyard. The couple was also seen walking on the beach.
Angelina returned to the Cycladic island after eight years. Then she was shooting the first part of the film series «Tomb Raider» in which she portrayed Lara Croft. Her simplicity and kindness had conquered the hearts of the people of Santorini since. Angelina was enchanted by the island and its people, and kept her promise to return again for holidays.
Locals said that Jolie and Pitt spent most of their time at sea and during Sunset, romantic walks on the narrow streets of Santorini overlooking the volcano. “They were very simple and discreet trying to stay away from possible paparazzis” added a local that saw the couple. Hollwood Greek Reporter

“Angelina is always invited by several media outlets to sit at their table, but she always refuses,” a friend of the actress told me. “Angie is filming in Europe at the moment, but that isn’t the reason she didn’t attend. She didn’t go because on her weekends off she would rather spend her time helping those who really need it rather than sitting, drinking champagne and laughing at bad jokes in a fancy DC ballroom.”
